 Nina Fialkow

Nina Fialkow is an Oscar, BAFTA, and Emmy Award-winning producer and a member of Impact Partners, a New York-based film funding group focused on telling stories around social justice. She is a Social Impact Executive Producer of Navalny which won the Academy Award for Best Documentary in 2023. Nina’s executive producer credits include Beyond Utopia, Aftershock, Citizen Ashe, Another Body, Flight/Risk, The Lincoln Project, Retrograde, Icarus: The Aftermath, The Inspection, The Grab, How to Survive a Pandemic, Rebel Hearts, Paper & Glue, The Vow (Parts I & II), The Great Hack, The Fourth Estate, 32 Sounds, and Bending the Arc.

Nina served as Chair of the Massachusetts Cultural Council from 2016 until June 2023, an appointment by Governor Charlie Baker. Nina and her husband David have played a direct role in launching the Transmedia Storytelling Initiative at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), which will teach media-based storytelling from film through augmented reality. In addition, she sits on the International Council for The Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government,  the Executive Committee for the National Committee for Performing Arts at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., and is a trustee at the Sundance Institute. 

 David Fialkow

David Fialkow is an Oscar, BAFTA and Emmy Award-winning producer and co-founder and managing director of General Catalyst, a venture capital firm that partners with founders to invest in powerful, positive change that endures with a focus on responsible innovation.

In addition to his role in business, David and his wife Nina produce documentary films focused on social justice. Their films, Icarus and Navalny won the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature in 2018 and 2023 respectively. David's executive producer credits include Navalny, Beyond Utopia, The First Wave, Aftershock, Citizen Ashe, Icarus: The Aftermath, Another Body, The Inspection, The Grab, Retrograde, Beyond Utopia, Flight/Risk, The Lincoln Project, How to Survive a Pandemic, The Dissident, City of Ghosts, Bending the Arc and The Fourth Estate. David is a member of Impact Partners, a New York-based film funding group focused on telling stories around social justice. David is also a board member of Story Syndicate, a production company founded by Liz Garbus and Dan Cogan devoted to premium nonfiction and scripted content.
